PacMan was, and still is, one of the best games around. With its extremely simple gameplay and loveable central character it manages to surpass any modern game for sheer entertainment.
For those of you too young to remember PacMan here is a brief breakdown:
You control a cute yellow blob as he races around a series of mazes, gobbling up the tiny pills littering his path. Guide him round the maze to clear it of pills, avoiding the ghosts and ghouls intent on stopping his munching.
Lesson over.
This more modern version follows the original faithfully, right down to the maddeningly fast-paced music, ghoulish enemies and power-pills: swallow one of these and you can gobble up your enemies for a short while.
Over 30 levels feature in the registered version, and at just $10 for full access it is a real bargain.
