Hangman is an old, yet still enjoyable word game. This version puts a twist on the standard game, combining a graphical interface with the traditional rules.

Set in a bar in the wild west it is your task, as a renegade cowboy, to guess the letters that make up the hidden word. The word is concealed behind a line of bottles: guess a letter correctly and your character shoots away the necessary bottle(s); get it wrong and watch the executioner add another component to the gallows through the bars window.

Various hints at your disposal make life easier (and hopefully save it) ranging from revealing a single letter, to exposing the complete solution. Games can be played using one of the 17,000+ general words, or words from one of 36 topics (including astronomy, capitals, TV shows, cartoons etc.).

As an added feature, you also have to defeat bandits now and again, each with their own speciality in the art of fighting.

Register and you can enter your own words and create your own topics. The game is playable in six languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Dutch.
