Verdict: Possibly a useful tool for storing and reading email from various locations
Every email client has its pros and cons. We may be forced to use Microsoft Outlook at work, but can’t afford to use this on our home PC. Our laptop may have Mozilla Thunderbird installed as default, whilst we probably also access webmail at work, rather than download it to our work PC. Either way, we’re managing multiple accounts, clients and our email is stored in multiple locations and different databases.
Factor in the problem where clients such as Microsoft Outlook will stop storing email if your database becomes too large, you’re going to either have to archive or store your email in another location. If you have a problem, there’s also a chance you’ll lose your old email and correspondence, which could be vital for the future of your business.
The answer is to merge and store email from various sources and access through one interface. You could even backup your email to DVD from time to time, just in case you have a problem with your system.
MailStore Home is a tool that enables you to source email from various email clients and locations and then access them from one interface. You can preview, backup and safeguard your email outside your regular email client.
