EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

Despite reported plans to go all-in with cloud two years ago, Toyota Australia is sticking to in-house ERP and human resources systems. The car maker will upgrade the systems - some up to 14-years-old - by 2013 in order to retain its SAP support agreement.

And Suncorp has embarked on a $275 million "simplification" program that will see it modernise IT systems and cut costs associated with legacy infrastructure.
